Book: Proverbs 16
“Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.”
In 1993, I was over in Russia with a team from Canada providing training in running Christian children camps. The first two weeks were to be training for Camp Directors and then the following four weeks for general camp staff. As most of us only spoke English and the Russian camp directors only spoke Russian, interpreters were required. The day before the training was to begin our scheduled interpreters communicated they would not be able to attend. We prayed about the situation that night and at breakfast the next morning we decided our key leader would travel to the towns around to see if he could get some interpreters. As we finished up our breakfast, two young men came walking into the dinning hall. Both of them were Russian who had immigrated to USA several years before and were not expected to arrive at the training center for another two weeks. Both of these men were fluent in both Russian and English. Needless to say, our key leader did not have to travel looking for interpreters. We thanked the Lord for providing just in time!
When we commit our actions and plans to the Lord we have to do so with open hands so that He can guide and direct. This is key, “Not my will but Your will be done”. We have to ask and trust Him that He will work out the details. Remember, He wants you to succeed in His will.
Commit your actions of this day to the Lord asking Him to provide all that you need to succeed and then enjoy as He provides.
