Book: Proverbs 11
“The whole city celebrates when the godly succeed; they shout for joy when the wicked die.”
On this day in Canada, we remember those who died for our freedom through wars. Young men and women left their homes, families and friends to fight for their country against wickedness so that those left behind and future generations would live in peace and freedom. For those who returned from the wars, many of them, brought home horrible memories of death and events that have bothered them since. Yes, we celebrate and are thankful for their success but we also solemnly consider the price these men and women as well as their families paid.
Thank you to every veteran and their family for the service you provided.
